On December 19th 2006, SDR and SinoStrategy held a press conference at Empark Grand Hotel in Beijing and officially announced the merger and establishment of (new) SDR Consulting. With the original strengths of “in-depth consulting” and “integrated consulting” from two firms, SDR Consulting’s mission is to assistant clients to create world class product and service.
On December 19th 2006, SDR and SinoStrategy officially announced the merger and establishment of (new) SDR Consulting. With the merger, SDR Consulting continuously strengthen its leading position on China management consulting practices. SDR’s mission is to assistant clients to create world class product and service. The consulting teams are ready to provide clients with the consulting services in the area of strategy formulation, operation optimization, marketing and branding, human resource management, risk management and international business. Yong Tao, the Chairman of the Board and CEO of the former SDR, will be the Chairman of the Board of the new firm and Matthew Meng, the former president of SinoStrategy, will be the President of the new firm.
The common business and personal goals and similar practices developed through several years of consulting experiences are the binding force for the merger. In the past 5 years, the partners of the two firms have been focusing on “customer value” as the fundamentals of the business and the two firms have been independently delivering services based on “global expertise, Chinese practice”.
Yong Tao, the founder of SDR, and Matthew Meng, the founder of SinoStrategy, both have extensive professional and management experience from international consulting firms, and they have led the consulting teams of the two firms to have provided clients world-class services supported by globally leading methodologies. The two firms have also respectively established global networks to cooperate with international experts.
SDR and SinoStrategy both put emphasis on providing long-term services to clients while continuously searching the most innovative and, at the same time, the most appropriate solutions to meet clients’ challenging business requirements.
